Wild Horse Half Course Preview #1

For anyone interested in running the Wild Horse Half Marathon or just checking out the course, we will have a preview run on Saturday, 12/24 at 7AM.

This run will be self-supported so be sure to bring proper clothing and all the hydration/nutrition you will need for the entire time you are on the course.

After you pass the Olympic Training Center pull into the parking lot on your left near the boat launch and there are bathrooms available.

The course is a “lollypop” so we start and end at the same location. If you want to carpool meet at the San Diego Running Institute at 6:15 am.

The run will be led by a mountain biker marking the course for you but don’t expect markings like you will see on race day. This is going to be a nice easy paced run to familiarize everyone with the course.

For anyone that is interested in checking out the Painted Rocks Half Marathon course prior to race day, we will be holding a course preview run on April 9th!

The run will be an unsupported, out and back so you can run as much or little of the course as you like. Be sure to bring your own hydration and nutrition.

Dirt Devil Racing is proud to announce it’s partnership with Hess Brewing for the upcoming Painted Rocks Half Marathon! Hess Brewing will be hosting the Post-Race Awards and Celebration Party.

After cruising the trails, what could be better than hanging out with your fellow runners, rehashing the race in all it’s gory details, while enjoying one of San Diego’s fine craft brews?
