Race Start Time: 7 AM
Location: Rancho Bernardo Community Park San Diego, CA 92127
Course Description: This local San Diego half marathon runs around beautiful Lake Hodges right off of highway 15. The race starts at West Bernardo Park and crosses the new stone suspension bridge from the South side of the Lake to the North side. After crossing the bridge runners head west along the North Shore trail overlooking the lake. After passing through the marina runners enter a wooded area and run along the lakeshore. This race is an out-n-back.
***NOTICE: Actual Course distance is 13.3 miles! This is a trail race therefore distances can’t always be exact. Don’t worry, we won’t charge you extra for it.***
Course cut-off: The course cut-off time is 3 hours. No finisher awards will be given for any racer not completing the course within 3 hours.

Aid Stations: Will be approximately at mile 1.5, 4.7, 6.9, 9.1 and 11.8. The race is an out-n-back making a total of 5 aid stations. Aid stations will have water and Ultima. Energy gels will be at the turnaround point at mile 6.6. You will have two stretches of over 3 miles without an aid station. It is HIGHLY recommended that ALL runners carry at least 12 oz of hydration with them during the race. This area can get very warm!

Parking: There is ample parking in the lots at the Rancho Bernardo Community Park.
Packet Pickup:
- April 20 from 11AM – 6PM
- April 21 from 10AM – 4PM
San Diego Running Institute 4760-B Mission Gorge Place San Diego, CA 92120 Unless you have paid for race day packet pickup, packets must be picked up from the San Diego Running Institute. If you did not pay for race day pickup when you registered and need to make arrangements for race day pickup, please contact Paul at paul@sdri.net.
MANDATORY Race Day Check-in: All race participants MUST check in on race morning. Failure to check in prior to starting the race will result in automatic disqualification. Race check in begins at 6AM.
Prizes: All participants will receive a finisher’s medal and technical shirt with the race logo. For prizes provided to Overall and Age Group Winners please see the Race Prizes page.

Refund/Transfer Policy: No Refunds. However, bib transfers will be allowed at no charge up to two weeks prior to the race. After that no transfers will be allowed
Traveling to San Diego for the Foxy Run Half Marathon? San Diego has a long list of great attractions and activities for you and your family to enjoy.
